Now thank we all our God, with hearts and hands and voices!!
Do you remember that classic hymn of thanksgiving? I sure do. It’s one of my favorites as a closing hymn at Mass. On Thursday, I hope to sing it again.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful to God for many blessings this year, and YOU are one of them! Thank you for your generous support and for spreading the word about Relevant Radio. Without your support and prayers, we would not be able to reach so many souls.
Do you mind if I make a recommendation to you? When you go to Mass, take a few minutes afterwards to make an Act of Thanksgiving, not only for the great gift of the Holy Eucharist, but also for the many blessings in your life. Jesus remains in us for ten minutes or so after we receive Him in Communion. That’s the best time of the day to talk to Him and thank Him. The Handbook of Prayers and other worship aids have beautiful traditional prayers for after Communion to aid you in your act of thanksgiving. I invite you to discover the treasure of those prayers.
Thanks be to God, the Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and our wonderful listeners, we just completed a very strong Fall Pledge Drive. For the year, we are at 97% of our need and goal. Not bad in a down economy.
I hope you have a beautiful, holy, and restful Thanksgiving holiday close to family and friends. I will be remembering you in my prayers of thanksgiving these days.
With prayers and best wishes,
