Dear friends,
We live in fascinating times! Today, at 5 pm Rome time, our dearly beloved Holy Father Benedict XVI departed from Rome and the See of St. Peter to spend the rest of his life in prayer for the Church. Since his historic announcement on February 11, Relevant Radio has been praying the Prayer to the Holy Spirit every hour, just as the apostles prayed in unison in the upper room before Pentecost.
Thanks to your generosity and hard work, Relevant Radio has been able to bring you accurate and up to date news and commentary on these historic events including live updates from our Rome correspondent Ashley Reneé Noronha.
In other news, I am happy to report:
- Relevant Radio just completed three years in a row of profitability
- We released our new mobile applications for Apple and Android devices
- The Winter Pledge Drive “Give from the Heart” was very strong and we reached 93% of our goal of $1.3MM
- Our daily “CateQuiz™” contest on Morning Air® sponsored by Sargento Cheese is off to a roaring start, helping to spread the faith while rewarding students for their hard work!
