- Hour 1 of 4-9-19
- Tony Sands is involved with Family Theater Productions, sits as the president of the board of the Right to Life League of So Cal, and is an award winning writer, producer, and director. He discusses the financing that went into the Unplanned movie. He took a risk and believed this movie needed to be made, so he was involved in helping to fund the project. He agrees that even though the mainstream media did not promote it, it has been a box office hit. He has witnessed the fact that women who have had abortions have been touched and finally felt vulnerable and able to share their story. Be a part of promoting this movie in your sphere of influence!
- Can you believe that some colleges would be required to give out abortion pills to students? This is happening in California, where Senate Bill 24 would mandate the RU-486 to be provided. Live Action reports that the bill has been approved, and that “according to the bill’s sponsors, somewhere between 10 and 17 women try to get an abortion each month on every University of California campus, and between nine and 15 each month at CSU.” Live Action goes on to say that this pill is not safe, even though proponents try to make it seem like it is. In fact, deaths have occurred from the RU-486! What will it take to stop this from happening, or is it too late? Tony Sands provides you with the facts. He argues that this is a part of the liberal and pro-death agenda that California wants to bring about; California is not interested in actual choices for women, he says. Rather, California is attempting to send a message that motherhood is not in line with femininity.
- Are you angered about how extreme abortion has gotten in the country? I hope you are! In NY, Gov. Cuomo has put this evil into law, and is allowing abortions to be done late term. As a result of this extremism, pro-lifers are fighting back. At Times Square, ultrasounds of babies in the third trimester will be shown on screens in 4-D. This is thanks to Focus on the Family, and it will happen on May 4th! Pray that hearts and minds will be changed. Kristan Hawkins from Students for Life will also be leading protests peacefully at Times Square with pink crosses. She updates you on what they plan to do, and she shares her confidence that Roe will be overturned.
