  • Hour 3 of 8-8-19
  • A Pew survey has found that 7 out of 10 Catholics don’t believe in the true presence of the Eucharist. So sad, isn’t it? Bishop Robert Barron laments this, and has challenged all of us to increase our devotion, encourage our catechists to share truth, and focus on what really matters as a Catholic.
  • Fr. Thomas Petri talks about the power of the Rosary, and gives advice to those who find it tiresome. He admits that it can be like exercise, where we come to appreciate the fruits later on. He says that rather than just focusing on the words, to truly put yourself in the shoes of Mary and think about what she experienced in the mysteries of the Rosary. He also shares the beauty of the Luminous mysteries, which were incorporated by St. John Paul II.
  • It’s time to take action! Some Wisconsin legislators might be trying to force priests in their state to violate the seal of Confession, and to share the sins of abuse which are confessed. This will only prove to be a danger to religious freedom, and priests would surely die before breaking the seal. Kim Vercauteran updates you, and asks you to call the WI Capitol to voice your concern. 1-800 362-9472
