Chaplet/Restoring the Church

  • Hour 2 of 9-24-19
  • Chaplet of Divine Mercy
  • A Gospel reflection between Wendy, Lucas, and Jake. They discuss Luke 8 19-21, where Jesus says that our brothers and mother is anyone who does the will of God, not just one who hears it. We must put God first in our lives, and allow the rest to fall into place. When we love God more than anyone else, we are given the grace to become the disciples we are meant to be. We are also given the grace to love as He loves.
  • Despite the sin and corruption plaguing aspects of the Catholic Church, we must remain committed to our faith and never back down. We must remember that the Church has been around for 2000 years and is not going anywhere. Let’s not falter on the truth, and even though we might feel pressure to bend on Church teachings on life and marriage, let’s carry the torch high. Dr. Regis Martin gives perspective on restoring the church and what we must do.
