- Hour 3 of 10-11-19
- Cardinal Newman (John Henry Cardinal Newman) will be canonized this Sunday! Along with a few other cardinals, he will become a new saint in the Church. Crux sums up his legacy well; “In an age of great polarization, including within the Church, Newman can be a unifying figure who can speak effectively to different Catholic sensibilities and bring them all closer to God.”Dr. Christopher Blum shares remarkable commentary on this amazing new saint for our Church.
- Could you imagine feeling the heat and being an eyewitness of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima? It was more than 100 years ago, but Drew speaks to Alice Israel about her father’s own experience and witness of it. Her father was only 17 at the time, but he was at the very site of the event, and she recounts his story. It changed his life, and he was even wounded from it by a guard’s bayonet. He spent the rest of his life sharing this miracle, and he has passed off his legacy to Alice. Drew asks her what Fatima means to us today, and she says that it is more important now than ever! She pleads for us to turn back to Our Lady’s message of repentance and to pray the Rosary!
