Chaplet/Impeachment update

  • Hour 2 of 1-22-20
  • Chaplet of Divine Mercy (Live Chaplet returns next Monday)
  • A discussion on a past Sunday’s Gospel dealing with Jesus’ baptism. He approached John the Baptist and asked to be baptized; this is an example for all of us that we must rely on Him for salvation; we can’t do it on our own. We, too, our children of God, when we are baptized, and we can lean on Jesus to be our savior. Ed explains why he sees a Star Trek movie scene correlating with this idea; he will explain why and how.
  • Sean Duffy, former Congressman of WI, provides an update on impeachment and gives his take. He admits that while he doesn’t agree with Rep. Adam Schiff’s arguments, he applauds him for being firm and collected throughout the hearing. There have been many arguments back and forth between the Republican Senate and Democratic House, and Chief Justice John Roberts even admonished them for their lack of civility. Duffy explains why the president can and has the right to exercise his executive privilege and not hand over certain documents, even though the House claims he has done something wrong.
