  • First, a continued discussion with Joe Sikorra about how to help police officers and firemen who are struggling with PTSD and feel as if they have no way to cope. How to prevent suicides and give them hope in their work. Police are up against a lot, and it seems as if they are not adequately supported and given the attention they need. Joe, a retired police officer shares his experience of how difficult police work can be. A good resource for them is BlueHelp.org. The National Suicide Hotline is 1-800-273-8255. • Have your kids left the faith? Do you wish they would come back and know Christ again? Sometimes when people become parents they do come back, but this is not always the case. It is important to keep the faith even when they don’t. Keep praying, and don’t have an agenda. Let God to the work, and remember that He always answers prayers of conversion, just not always in the time we want Him to. Allison Ricciardi gives her counsel, and we encourage you to subscribe to her YouTube channel which has great reflections for your faith life in 2020.
