- Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the central doctors on the team, was asked by a reporter if 100,000 deaths could actually occur in the US. He did not rule it out, and said that if we don’t continue to mitigate the spread it could happen. President Trump has extended the social distancing time for another month. He said that “by June 1st great things will happen.” The chief executive had previously hoped to have things back to normal by Easter, but has agreed that more time is needed to take extra precautions. Dr. Deborah Birx, the response coordinator, explained that the decision to extend the time length of social distancing was not made easily. However, as they looked at the models in front of them it appeared as if they have no choice. Hear what they have to say on this and more.

Internet speeds are slowing down and people are finding that their computers are not working as effectively.
