House passes $3T relief bill

  • Hour 1 of 5-13-20
  • The House has tried to get through a 3 trillion dollar relief bill, but it will most likely not get passed the Senate. Critics claim that it is nothing more than a liberal wish list, offering money to states and not truly helping to aid with the Coronavirus. Speaker Pelosi denied those claims to CNN, but Romina Boccia says otherwise. She joins Drew to express her concern that this is a politicized effort for the House to simply get what they want.
  • Fr. Nicholas Federspiel joins Drew to talk about St. Mary Margaret Alacoque’s canonization. He explains: ” Jesus Christ appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) during apparitions that lasted 18 months. In the first vision in 1673 Jesus Christ told this Catholic nun to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart, saying many graces would come to all who honor His Sacred Heart, including these 12 promises to all Christians who honor His Sacred Heart:
  • +I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life
+I will establish peace in their families
+I will console them in all their difficulties
+I will be their secure refuge during life & especially at the hour of death
+I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings
+Sinners shall find in My Heart the source & infinite ocean of mercy
    +Tepid souls shall grow fervent
+Fervent souls shall quickly grow to high perfection
+I will bless every place in which a picture of My Heart shall be exposed & honored
+I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts
+Those who promote this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be blotted out
+I promise in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Friday in 9 consecutive months the grace of final penitence; they shall not die in My displeasure nor without receiving the Sacraments; My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in the last moment.”
