- Does the idea of defunding police make you scared, or maybe make your blood boil? Some want this to happen, but even Joe Biden is pushing back on it. Michael O’Meara, the president of the New York State Association of PBAs gave an incredibly stirring speech yesterday explaining how frustrated he is that police are being unfairly targeted. We know that not every cop is bad, and it would be unwise to eliminate funding for the police as this would only make society more unsafe. Camden, NJ, is being looked at as a community that has brought about effective police reform and they are training law enforcement to step up their game even more. - Because of everything happening right now, Paramount Network has canceled their show COPS, and A&E is thinking about getting rid of their police officer show. On top of that, HBO Max plans to remove Gone With the Wind due to perceived racial implications.
