The Immaculate Conception and the Year of St. Joseph

  • Hour 1 of 12-8-20
  • Drew begins the hour with a brief news roundup. The House voted in favor of decriminalizing weed, but with the Republican led Senate it probably will not go through. However, it shows what could happen if Democrats get control of the Senate following the Georgia runoff. Also, Drew looks at the draconian measures happening with these lockdowns, particularly in Los Angeles. It’s heartbreaking what this woman who owns a restaurant is going through in LA. You may have already seen her video which has gone viral, but listen as she holds back tears, pleading with Mayor Garcetti to show sympathy to her and allow her to do outdoor business. She compared her setup which was beautifully done to the Hollywood catering lot just 50 ft away, with practically no substantial safety measures apparent in the video. You can watch it here.
  • Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception! We honor our Lady’s immaculate protection from sin, and the way that she was made perfect so that she could give birth to Our Savior. Hear a special reflection from one of our colleagues, John Morales. Also, Dr. Mark Miravalle is on to talk about how we need our Blessed Mother in this culture. Pope Francis has said that this next year will be the Year of St. Joseph! Dr. Miravalle explains why this is going to be a game changer and a year full of much grace.
  • The transgender movement is pervasive in our pop culture, entertainment, politics, and so much more. Nickelodeon has launched a campaign to help transgender people get into acting. Walt Heyer is someone who experienced sex change regret, and he is on to sound the alarm on this movement. People need to know the truth, that this gender ideology will not make people happy. He warns you that this next Biden administration will have deep connections to George Soros and the transgender push.
