Political Opinions and Positions:  As a 501c3 non-profit organization that owns and operates both commercial and non-commercial radio stations in the U.S., Relevant Radio® neither endorses nor explicitly advocates for any candidate or political party.  Hosts of Relevant Radio programs are forbidden to do so.  Opinions expressed by guests or callers are not necessarily those of Relevant Radio or its staff and management.  We encourage all registered voters to exercise their right to vote.  In addition, Relevant Radio encourages listeners to thoroughly explore the voting records and position platforms of all candidates and parties to determine which best reflect their Catholic values.

Political advertising:  Under federal law, Relevant Radio must accept political advertising from all legally qualified candidates for Federal office.  This includes all candidates for President, Vice-President, U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate who meet certain benchmarks.  We reject advertising from candidates for all other offices, including gubernatorial and state house, state senate and/or general assembly candidates, regardless of political affiliation or stance on issues.  This restriction also extends to local candidates such as mayor or city council.  We also reject all political advertising requests coming from any individual or group outside of a federal candidate or his/her authorized committee and all political “issue” advertisements.  Representatives of candidates for Federal office can contact Bob Benes at bbenes@relevantradio.com for more information on rates.
