The Milwaukee Christ Brings Hope Award Dinner on Thursday, December 7, marks the 25th Christ Brings Hope Award Dinner hosted by Relevant Radio®. Over 300 listeners and friends were in attendance to help honor the Men of Christ and Women of Christ Conferences.
The Men of Christ and Women of Christ Conferences were founded in 2007 and 2008, respectively, in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. They draw thousands of faithful men and women each year and invite attendees to share their faith with one another and the world. They strengthen and encourage men and women with events and retreats throughout the year.
Archbishop Jerome Listecki, Bishop Jeffrey Haines, and Bishop James Schuerman were in attendance and offered prayers and blessings throughout the evening at the Milwaukee Hyatt. Executive Director Fr. Francis Hoffman “Father Rocky”, Chairman of the Board Thomas Vorpahl, and show host Fr. Richard Simon were also in attendance, along with many other Relevant Radio associates, board members, and volunteers.
“The Women of Christ Conference has enriched the Archdiocese of Milwaukee by giving voice to the authentic dignity of women. They have a most valuable role in the Church to nurture and share the Catholic faith with their unique gifts endowed by God,” Archbishop Listecki has said about the honoree.
The Christ Brings Hope Award is an award presented by Relevant Radio to American Catholics who have worked with extraordinary dedication to bring the good news and hope of Christ to all souls. The recipients exemplify the virtues of charity, generosity, hope, apostolic zeal, and love for the Truth.
