Peter Fiala is a Parish Ambassador at St. Raymond’s Parish in Downey, CA and he is Relevant Radio®’s May 2019 Volunteer of the Month!

Peter is an energetic and creative Parish Ambassador. He is always ready to help and very generous with his time! He shared with us how listening to Relevant Radio has made an impact on his life, which led him to become a Parish Ambassador.

“It has been life changing,” he said. “I’ve learned so much more about my faith in the last couple of years than I did the first 45(ish) years of my life. It’s like listening to all the experts teaching, giving out the advice of masters … for FREE! You cannot get that anywhere else. I can now begin to defend the Catholic faith with confidence from what I learned by just listening. God has given all an opportunity to help out and stand up in a time of need in our society for our faith, family, and community.”

In listening to Relevant Radio for some time, Peter kept hearing on-air announcements calling for Parish Ambassadors. He said, “After hearing it for over a year, I felt like they were talking to me. So I called and asked about it, and it was very easy to do.”

Sharing his experience of being a Parish Ambassador, Peter said, “I get such positive feedback, that it really blows my mind that I, such an average individual could help so many people deepen their faith by just inviting them to listen. The radio hosts do all the rest. Such a small effort can have a huge impact in areas that I’ve could not have imagined when I signed up as an ambassador.”
