Today is May 30, and tomorrow is Pentecost.

During this novena we have been praying the daily Memorare for the opening of the Churches: and look what’s happened.  I know from personal experience that the Memorare is a powerful prayer!  When Relevant Radio and Immaculate Heart Radio merged in 2017, all of a sudden we were big.  So I thought, “I wonder what would happen if we pray the Memorare on air every hour for an end to abortion?”

Well, since we started praying that Memorare, some big things have happened:  First, a Justice of the Supreme Court retired and was replaced by a new Justice who we hope is pro-life.  Second, the US Bishops issued a statement that “the threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority.”  And finally, last January for the first time ever, the President of the United States of America showed up at the March for Life in Washington, DC, and declared, “All of us here today understand an eternal truth: Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God.”  It took 47 years.  But you’re watching Mary at the Crossroads of History.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.  Amen.
