Revival Session 1: From the Four Corners

Day 1 of the National Eucharistic Congress was an unbelievable success. And it all culminated at the first Revival Session of the week, which took place in Lucas Oil Stadium on the Main Stage. After Brooke Taylor and Glen Lewerenz provided pre-show coverage of the Congress, Fr. Rocky and Helen Brinkerhoff led Relevant Radio listeners and viewers in the Family Rosary Across America.

To kick off the Revival Session the Perpetual Pilgrims of each route processed out of the stadium tunnels, lifting up images of the saints whose names their routes bore. From the four corners of the country, these people traveled, and they all came for the same reason: To show up for Jesus Christ. And as they showed up for Him, He showed up for them.

“If you are able, please kneel.”

50,000 Catholics, young and old, big and small, knelt in Lucas Oil Stadium last night out of respect for God, the King of the Universe, who was being carried out in a monstrance by Bishop Andrew Cozzens.
