Revival Session 4: This is My Body

The theme of Revival Session 4 on Saturday, July 20th was “This is My Body”. With a heavy focus on the life of the early Church and the life to come of the future Church, the speakers and musicians of this session turned our attention toward ways to live out the Gospel.

“Your Christianity is not for you,” said Bishop Barron to the Congress attendees. “Christianity is not a self-help program, something just designed to make us feel better about ourselves. Your Christianity is for the world.”

You are the light of the world. What good are you if you hide that light under a bushel basket? You are the salt of the earth, meant to enhance what is good in the world and put to death what is bad in the world. But if salt loses its savor, who can make it salty again?

We are not called to hold hostage the Lord. We are commanded to go out and give Him to as many people as we can, in the different ways that we are called to.
