Rocky Star Sylvester Stallone Revealed That His Mom Tried to Abort Him (Trending with Timmerie)

On Trending with Timmerie, Timmerie shared a pretty shocking story about Rocky legend, Sylvester Stallone. Turns out, his mom actually tried to abort him!  Let that sink in for a moment. It’s a heartbreaking testimony, especially when you think about who Stallone is today, and it was especially powerful for Timmerie because of an encounter she had with him years ago.

Flashback to 10-15 years ago—Timmerie was doing some pro-life work in Beverly Hills.  Suddenly, this car pulls up, and who steps out? Sylvester Stallone! He didn’t say anything, but he looked at them, smiled, and gave them a thumbs up. Timmerie learned through that encounter that he was pro-life. This story makes Sylvester’s revelation all the more inspirational.

So, Stallone was on his daughters’ podcast, and he opened up about his rough childhood. His mom, Jackie, had a really traumatic upbringing—she grew up in a super abusive orphanage and was just never able to show love or even handle being touched. Because of all the hurt she carried; she tried multiple times to end her pregnancy with Stallone. But he made it through—talk about a miracle, right?

What’s really sad is that Stallone grew up thinking that avoiding physical touch was normal because of how distant his mom was. It wasn’t until much later in life that he realized how much it all affected him. But here’s the thing—after being away from the Catholic Church for years, Stallone found his way back when his daughter was born with health issues. Timmerie explains that he surrendered, and his faith became his anchor.

This isn’t just a Hollywood star’s story. It’s the reality that so many people face—being unwanted, and maybe you can relate to this. It might be difficult to deal with whatever your current situation is, but God can help you. Your faith can transform even the darkest, most broken situations. God heals us in ways that defy our understanding.

Stallone’s story shows us that no matter how wounded we are, there’s always hope. We can find forgiveness, healing, and redemption through Christ, no matter the struggles or scars we carry.
