On this episode of Family Rosary Across America, Fr. Rocky and Maggie got real about faith in tough times. 😢
🎙️ Fr. Rocky opened with a powerful call to prayer, asking listeners from coast to coast to join in praying for the end of the California wildfires. He specifically mentioned invoking the intercession of Our Lady of Champion, reminding us how she miraculously helped stop the 1871 Peshtigo fire on the same night as the Great Chicago Fire. 🌹
🙏 Maggie’s back and feeling better after a rough flu season (prayers for all those battling sickness out there!). They wasted no time jumping into prayer intentions, starting with Jonathan from San Diego. He called in asking for prayers for Corpus Christi Parish, which was tragically lost in the fires, but he shared hope too. The priests are safe, the community is coming together, and churches nearby are stepping up to shelter the homeless. The Body of Christ in action, folks! 🤲🏽
🔥 But the most unforgettable moment? Fr. Rocky shared a jaw-dropping video sent by a priest friend. A family returned to the ashes of their home, literally burned to the ground. All that remained?A statue of Our Lady and St. Joseph in the backyard, completely untouched. Instead of despair, they stood there and sang theRegina Caeli in Latin, their voices rising above the rubble like a victory chant of faith:
“Regina Caeli, laetare, alleluia!” 🎶
Chills. Literal chills. 😭 Even in total devastation, their faith was unshaken. What a powerful reminder that even when everything seems lost, God is still with us. 🌟
💬 So…what’s your “Regina Caeli moment”? How do you cling to faith in tough times? Let’s keep lifting each other in prayer. ❤️
