Fr. Rocky and co-host Maggie welcome a caller named Susan from Texas, who shares an intention that moves listeners everywhere. Susan asked for prayers for her husband, Jeffrey. With a voice full of both longing and faith, she says:
“I miss him. I love him. I forgive him. And I ask that he forgive me too. Please, come home soon.”
Susan also asks for prayers for a friend named Kevin who is battling cancer. Her request reminds all who tuned in that the Rosary is about love, forgiveness, and entrusting our struggles to Jesus and Mary.
Forgiveness and Healing in Marriage
Susan’s prayer reminds us of the deep human need for reconciliation. From a faith perspective, forgiveness reflects the very heart of the Gospel. Jesus teaches us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:14).
By speaking her words of love and forgiveness publicly, Susan models Christian courage. Her willingness to forgive and to ask for forgiveness echoes Christ’s mercy on the Cross.
