During the Relevant Radio pilgrimage to Italy, Fr. Francis “Rocky” Hoffman, Chairman and CEO of Relevant Radio, had the privilege of meeting Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican. In their meeting, Fr. Rocky shared the mission that drives Relevant Radio: Bringing Christ to the World through the Media. The Holy Father listened with joy as Fr. Rocky described how our mission aligns closely with his own call to prayer, unity, and evangelization in this Jubilee of Hope.
This October, that shared mission took on a special significance. Pope Leo XIV asked Catholics everywhere to pray the Rosary each day for peace, a call that echoed Relevant Radio’s own October Pray for Peace campaign, inviting listeners across the nation to pray the Family Rosary Across America each evening. With providential timing, both the Holy Father and Relevant Radio united hearts and voices toward the same goal: invoking the intercession of Our Lady for peace in the world and in every human heart.
October is also Respect Life Month, a fitting time to renew our devotion to Mary, who reminds us that every life is sacred and every prayer has power. In presenting Pope Leo with a copy of Mary at the Crossroads of History, Fr. Rocky shared how Our Lady continues to guide the Church in moments of great challenge, just as she has throughout salvation history. The Pope’s blessing upon this shared effort is a sign of unity between the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV and the mission of Relevant Radio, which stands firmly united to the Holy Father in faith, in prayer, and in service to the Gospel.
