Relevant Radio recently welcomed Brandon Rhoades, Fire Marshal and public education officer for the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District, to our headquarters in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Rhoades led voluntary CPR, AED, and Heimlich maneuver training sessions for our staff, offering practical instruction that can make a critical difference in emergencies. His expertise, combined with hands-on practice, helped employees gain confidence in responding to life-threatening situations.

More than half of our on-site team chose to participate in these exercises, reflecting a strong commitment to personal preparedness and to the well-being of colleagues, visitors, and the surrounding community. The training covered essential skills used in sudden cardiac arrest, choking incidents, and other urgent medical situations, and it provided staff with clear, approachable guidance on how to act effectively when every second counts.
At Relevant Radio, we view workplace safety as an important part of our mission to serve with integrity and care. By investing in life-saving training, we support a culture where each person is equipped to protect others, and where readiness is seen as an expression of respect for the people we work with every day. The enthusiasm of our employees shows that safety is not only a policy, it is a shared value that strengthens our organization.
We are grateful to Brandon Rhoades and the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District for their partnership and for helping our staff gain valuable skills that can make a lasting impact both inside and outside the workplace.
