A Birthday Song, a Rosary, and a Prayer for Peace (Family Rosary Across America)

Sometimes the most beautiful moments on Family Rosary Across America are the simplest ones.

Kim called in from Houston, Texas, with a heart full of gratitude. She thanked God for her husband James’ birthday, for their 30th wedding anniversary this past November, and for the gift of praying the Rosary each day with Relevant Radio. What began during a long drive home through Houston traffic has now become part of their daily life together.

Kim also asked for prayers for Larry, a close family friend in the terminal stages of acute myeloid leukemia. Her brief request was full of love, asking the Lord for Larry’s comfort and peace.

Then came an unexpected moment of joy. Since James was away for work, Maggie sang “Happy Birthday” for him on the air, while Fr. Rocky promised Kim that she could send him the link afterward.

It was a small but touching reminder that the Rosary brings together thanksgiving, sorrow, and love. In one call, there was celebration, fidelity, friendship, and trust in God’s mercy.
