How do you heal a broken heart? How do you deal with unresolved childhood trauma? Doug answers these questions and more.
Listener questions and comments:
- Christine – I am reading a story of a woman in the Nazi camps who forgave the Nazis for what they did to her. it was so inspiring and reminded me of what you’re saying about forgiveness. (23:17)
- Jimmy – I was sexually abused by an older sibling and had forgotten about it until he apologized. I think that made it worse because it made me more aware. (26:19)
- Anthony – My wife was abused by her uncle. We were married in 1980 and she didn’t tell me until 1990. She lied in front of a priest too. I don’t know how to get over this. (36:02)
- Pete – I tried committing suicide. The thing you think is you want to stop this pain not that you want to die. (44:30)
