Happy New Year! Yes, I know it’s still November, but this Sunday is the first day of the Church’s Liturgical Year! It’s also the first Sunday of Advent, a season of great joy and anticipation. We look forward to eagerly awaiting and preparing for the birth of Christ with you over the next several weeks. One great way to get ready is by praying the Christmas Family Rosary Novena with us each evening from December 16-24 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. Fr. Dave Heney and I will be leading the Holy Rosary from our Los Angeles and Chicago studios, respectively, as we count down the last days of Advent together.
This month, we hit a huge milestone and shared some exciting news—together, we have prayed over 100,000,000 Memorares for an end to abortion in the United States! Thank you so much for praying with us; we look forward to continuing this journey together as we work towards our new goal of 200 million Memorares! Keep on adding your prayers to the Memorare Meter!
I’m pleased to share that our purchase of WVNJ 1160 AM in Oakland, New Jersey, was approved by the FCC! 1160 AM is our 70th Owned and Operated Station that reaches seven million people in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Combined with our stations in Los Angeles and Chicago, this acquisition strengthens our foothold in the three largest Catholic populations centers in the country.
Our November Pledge Drive was a huge success, all thanks to your very generous support. We met our goal and it’s so humbling to see the outpouring of support from so many listeners across the country, and the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
