It’s the last day of the decade and oh boy, it’s been one for the record books! In the past ten years at Relevant Radio®, we’ve made enormous strides in our mission—Bringing Christ to the world through the media.
In 2010, we were broadcasting on 33 stations and reaching 22 million people; today, we broadcast on over 170 stations and reach 220 million souls across the country!! That doesn’t include our online reach, which has increased exponentially over the past several years with the launch of our mobile app, social media presence, and a new website. And the best news? 20% of listeners surveyed credit Relevant Radio with bringing them back to Sunday Mass. I bet God is smiling about that!
In the past year, there have been so many wonderful things happening at Relevant Radio, and since you are a big part of our work, we want to share the top 3 with you:
- We purchased 33 new stations in many new markets, expanding our reach to 220 million souls!
- Our California listeners helped defeat SB 360, a bill that would have attacked the seal of Confession.
- In just one year we are close to reaching our goal of praying another 100 million Memorares for an end to abortion!
What an amazing year (and decade) it has been! All the glory to God, and thanks to our Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph for their help and intercession. And of course we are enormously grateful for you, our listeners and supporters, for your prayers and generosity—this work would not be possible without you!
We look forward to what the future has in store for Relevant Radio. Our goal for 2020 and beyond is to engage even more listeners and bring 1 million people back to Sunday Mass. Wouldn’t that be something? Thank you for joining us on this journey.
