It’s Consecration Day! At 3:30pm CT on May 1, the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, Relevant Radio® will consecrate the network and all listeners to the protection of St. Joseph.
St. Joseph has been a powerful intercessor and friend of the Relevant Radio network for many years. As a patron of the network, he has come through in extraordinary ways to help the mission and keep the organization close to Jesus and the Blessed Mother.
The consecration will be broadcast LIVE from the Chapel of the Nativity across the Relevant Radio network as well as via live video at relevantradio.com/watch.
This is the ninth day of our Novena to St. Joseph, which our listeners have been following since April 23. “We’re going to consecrate Relevant Radio and our worldwide family of listeners to St. Joseph for a number of reasons,” said Rev. Francis Hoffman, “Father Rocky”, Executive Director at Relevant Radio, when he announced the consecration on Morning Air® on April 21. “First to thank St. Joseph for all he’s done over the years at Relevant Radio—he’s really been a game changer. And then second to ask his powerful intercession over all of us and upon our mission so that we stay faithful to Christ.”
Fr. Rocky will lead the consecration beginning with Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament. We’ll then hear a reading from the Gospel and a short homily about the foster father of Jesus. Afterwards, all will pray together the Consecration Prayer, Litany to Saint Joseph, and Novena Prayer to St. Joseph.

Adding to the excitement of consecration day, the USCCB later announced that Archbishop José Gomez would reconsecrate the United States to Mary, Mother of the Church on the same day! So at 2pm CT on May 1, tune in to Relevant Radio to hear that special consecration of the nation to our Blessed Mother. A beautiful day, indeed.

Consecration Prayer
O great St. Joseph, the golden crown you wear is a small sign of our gratitude for the extraordinary blessings you have brought upon Relevant Radio ever since our first pilgrimage to the Oratory of St. Joseph in Montreal in February, 2010.
Today we consecrate Relevant Radio to you. All of our programs, all of our efforts, all of our Benefactors, Associates, Affiliates, Listeners and Board of Directors: we consecrate to you. All of our thoughts, all of our dreams, our bodies, our souls: we consecrate to you.
In return dear St. Joseph, we beg that you protect us as you diligently protected the Blessed Mother and Jesus. Help us to be faithful to the magisterium and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Help us remain united to the Bishops. Help us to always be proudly under the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady.
You are a model of Christian manliness and fatherhood: prayerful, chaste, sober, alert, skillful, humble, obedient, persevering, faithful, courageous, and generous. May all of the men at Relevant Radio be inspired by you and follow your example.
You protected the Blessed Virgin Mary. May all of the women at Relevant Radio be inspired by Our Lady’s example of humility, service, prayer, modesty, cheerfulness, charity, perseverance, and joy.
You taught Jesus how to work. May you intercede so that all of us can use our energies and our talents to bring Christ to the world through the media.
Keep us safe and beg God to give us the health and strength we need today to do what God wants us to do for him and for others.
