How Barbenheimer Can Bring Us Together (Special Podcast Highlight)

A popular movie going trend, coined “Barbenheimer,” is bringing many people back to the movie theater. With the recent box office hits Barbie and Oppenheimer, movie goers are spending long hours seeing both films back-to-back.

Timmerie is joined by Fr. Timothy Grumbach to reflect on what this means for our culture. While they don’t necessarily recommend seeing the films; (Oppenheimer is rated R for graphic scenes and Barbie is PG-13 with feminist viewpoints,) they do see a positive good. Many are leaving their personal Netflix experience to enjoy a film together in community. Hear what they have to say about this trend.

Timmerie recommends using Common Sense Media to check out whether a film is appropriate to see.
