An Exclusive Interview with Tammy and Dr. Jordan Peterson (The Cale Clarke Show)

Congratulations to Tammy Peterson for entering the Catholic Church! We welcome all new Catholics who came in this Easter vigil.

Cale Clarke had the privilege of speaking with Tammy and Dr. Jordan Peterson, right after the Easter Vigil at Holy Rosary in Toronto, Canada.

Tammy shared her mesmerizing experience of the vigil. This beautiful tradition resonated with her deeply, reminding her of a similar, enlightening experience at a monastery in Austria, where she and Jordan witnessed their first Easter vigil.

Dr. Jordan Peterson shared that for him, the experience was not just about witnessing but actively participating in a saga of faith that has been years in the making. Tammy’s exploration of faith, her connection with the Rosary during her illness, and her journey towards Catholicism were credited as profound steps in her entrance into the Church.

Tammy’s choice of Mary as her confirmation name shows her lifelong search for a maternal figure that she found within the Catholic faith, a discovery intertwined with praying the Rosary during her most challenging times. As a former Protestant, she was always bothered that Mary could not be found in their churches.

Jordan Peterson delved into the philosophical and existential dimensions of Tammy’s spiritual journey, criticizing modern society’s inclination towards worship of nature and the perils of ignoring transcendental truth. Both Tammy and Jordan spoke candidly about the struggles of living in a culture that often prioritizes immediate gratification and power over the pursuit of truth and spiritual depth.

The conversation took a deeply personal turn as they reflected on the themes of death and resurrection, particularly resonating with their experiences of near-death and profound loss, juxtaposed with the joy of new life within their family. This duality of grief and gratitude has helped Tammy to better experience the power of Jesus’ resurrection.

Tammy’s account of dealing with her father’s death and the simultaneous birth of her grandson is the embodiment of the Easter message of death leading to new life, a theme that deeply touched both her and Jordan. They reflected on gratitude, the importance of seeking truth beyond oneself, and the acknowledgment of life’s transient nature.

Tammy and Dr. Jordan Peterson encourage you to never take life for granted. Every moment is a gift, so take it in and give thanks to God.
