Fr. Dan Dorsey is part of a very unique ministry known as the Glenmary Home Missioners. Home missions are essentially the domestic missionaries who seek out places in the United States where the Church has not been established and bring the Faith and the Sacraments to those people and that area. Fr. Dan explained that his vocation is about more than growing the Catholic community in these locations, but it’s primarily about being of service to the people around him, Catholics and non-Catholics. The Glenmary Missioners have been serving the United States since 1939.
