What Would You Do if a Man Wearing Women’s Clothing Walked into Your House? (The Patrick Madrid Show)

Ever had one of those moments where you had to take a firm stance when your faith and values were challenged? Brenda from Traverse City, Michigan, had quite the story on The Patrick Madrid Show. Picture this: you’re closing a loan at home, and the credit union sends a representative. But when you open the door, it’s a man dressed in women’s clothing! 😲 Not cool.

Brenda’s Encounter Brenda was ready for a straightforward closing process, but when Robert showed up in a skirt and pink shirt, she was totally thrown off. Despite feeling super uncomfortable, she managed to get through the paperwork but was left shaken and unsure of what to do next.

Patrick’s Perspective Patrick had a pretty firm take on this. He said if it were him, he wouldn’t put up with it at all. He’d tell the person to leave and reschedule the appointment at the office, even if it was inconvenient. For Patrick, it’s about not compromising on professionalism and respect.

Cyrus’s Approach Cyrus, Patrick’s producer, offered a different angle. He admitted he’d probably try to keep calm and just get through it, given the stress of closing on a loan. But even he felt it was important to address such situations later with the company.

What Would You Do? Patrick’s stance might have you thinking about it deeper: What would you do in that situation? Would you ask the person to leave?

Mike’s Alternative Approach Mike from West Virginia shared a different perspective. He said he’d invite the person in, offer them a cup of coffee, and try to introduce them to Jesus. Then, if the person put up a fight, he would let the company know that he was met with unprofessionalism. He believed in showing Christian love and patience, even if it might be a bit risky. Pretty courageous, right?

What would you do if you were in Brenda’s shoes? Would you ask the person to leave, try to keep calm, or show Christian love and compassion the whole way through? Let’s talk about how we can live our faith and uphold our values in today’s challenging world. 🌍🕊️
