Fatima, Portugal. 1916. The world is gripped by a world war of unspeakable scale. The new Portuguese First Republic prepares to join the war on the side of the allies. In Fatima, the governor begins imposing the government’s anti-Catholic policies on his traditional district. In the same district, three children get ready to bring their family’s sheep to pasture, never guessing that their day in the fields will be interrupted by a supernatural visitor.
