Pope Leo XIV: “Let us pray together that we might again learn how to discern”

On Thursday, July 3rd, Pope Leo XIV posted a video on X with the following caption:

Let us #PrayTogether that we might again learn how to discern, to know how to choose paths of life and reject everything that leads us away from Christ and the Gospel. #PrayerIntention @clicktopray_en #ClickToPray

The video is branded with the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, which is a Pontifical Society that strives to promote prayer as an integral part of the Church’s mission, a goal that ties in well to the message Pope Leo XIV delivered to the audience at the Angelus on Sunday. There, he encouraged all to remember that the universal mission of is to spread the Word of God to all nations. Prayer is vital to that mission because “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Luke 10:2)
