Today we celebrate the feast of St. Thomas More, who was executed by King Henry VIII because he refused to follow the king’s wishes and compromise his Catholic faith. As he was led to his death, St. Thomas More said, “I die the king’s faithful servant, but God’s first.” How can we, as Americans, follow the heroic example of St. Thomas More?
Bishop Donald Hying of the Diocese of Gary, Indiana stops by Morning Air® to discuss religious freedom, and how we can be good citizens and good Catholics.
