Today we celebrate the feast of St. Juan Diego. Though he was considered to be foolish, weak, and lowly, through him, God brought about the conversion of millions. The Blessed Mother appeared to Juan Diego in 1531. She left him with a miraculous picture of herself that he used to assure the bishop that he really had seen Our Lady and that she wanted a Church built in her honor.
