Our experience of the Mass has changed. Most of us have felt it over the past year in one way or another. We’re either experiencing Mass from home on a screen, or maybe we’ve been able to return to Mass in person but the safety measures have made us feel disconnected from the sacrament and the rest of the congregation.

The thing is, the Mass hasn’t changed. Though we may be experiencing it in a different way, our Lord is still present in the liturgy in the same way He always has been.
