Chris Stefanick on Beauty and Sainthood

We are charged with reminding the world, in the words of Pope Francis, that we are in the midst of the greatest love story known to mankind. If you remove the context of love from a marriage, what have you got? An old man at one of Chris Stefanick’s talks once responded to that question, “A to-do list.” And that’s exactly how many people today view the Church. They don’t see it as a love story between Christ and His Church, but rather as a to-do list penned in by rules, regulations, and guidelines about what you can’t do.

We need to remind the non-believers around us that we are part of something bigger and more beautiful than ourselves. We are all key components in the future of the universe. Otherwise, why were we created? What’s the point, if not to become a saint and contribute to the body?
