ROSARY NOVENA: DAY 28
Have you ever had a vision?
Most people don’t get to see visions – and even many saints never saw visions. It’s easy to think that visions are just for extraordinary saints and exceptionally holy people. But not so fast!
Remember, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque was born in the little village of L’Hautecour in France. It was a small farming village with more sheep than people! Nothing about her background said “future world-renowned saint.” But she was who Jesus chose to reveal His Sacred Heart to, trusting her to spread the devotion throughout the world.
Why St. Margaret Mary Alacoque? She was open to God’s movement in her life. She sought God in prayer, pursued a relationship with Him in the Sacraments and, when she strayed from the path, she listened to the nudge of the Holy Spirit and returned to Jesus.
Over many years, this led to St. Margaret Mary having intense, mystical experiences of friendship with the Lord. And now, thanks to her holiness, we can experience the devotion to Jesus’ Sacred Heart.
It wasn’t easy – nobody’s life is really easy. But Jesus has a plan for everyone, including me and you. We may not have mystical visions, but every one of us can follow nudges from the Holy Spirit!
Bring those experiences and your needs to the Family Rosary Across America®tonight at 7pm CT. Let’s ask for the courage to say yes to wherever the Holy Spirit is calling us.
And now, you can also join our Family Rosary Across America text group by texting HEART to 914914 for updates and reminders to pray with us during this novena.
See you at the Rosary!
