All About Angels (Special Podcast Highlight)

Do you pray to your guardian angel? Do you feel a sense of love, protection, and safety from your angel? If you don’t think much about your angel, today is a great day to start!

In this episode of The Drew Mariani Show, Drew discusses the topic of angels with Dr. Mark Miravalle. Dr. Miravalle emphasizes the awe-inspiring nature of angels, describing them as a massive angelic civilization far beyond human comprehension. He explains that angels are both adorers of God and messengers for humanity, and that God delegates tasks to angels whenever possible.

The conversation delves into the fall of angels, where Lucifer, the highest angel, rebelled against God’s plan for the future Incarnation. Sadly, many angels followed Lucifer in his rebellion, but St. Michael remained loyal and became the leader of the heavenly host in the battle against Satan.

A listener calls in to ask about their origin and the knowledge about them. How is the Church certain about all of this theology? How can you know for sure that all of this is true? Dr. Miravalle explains that essential teachings about angels are derived from Scripture and Tradition, so you can rest assured. He also discusses the hierarchical structure of angels, mentioning choirs like seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominions, virtues, powers, principalities, archangels, and angels. He clarifies that angels are distinct from human beings and emphasizes the importance of guardian angels in individual lives.

Dr. Miravalle also explains the possibility of individuals having more than one angelic assistance based on their vocation or significant roles for the Church and the world.

Be comforted in this conversation and know that you have an angel who is always working to get you to heaven. You can check out the full hour here!
