Support a Twin Cities Catholic School when you make a gift to Relevant Radio

Through the generosity of an anonymous benefactor, donations made to Relevant Radio through May 31, 2020 may be matched to support tuition assistance at 54 schools in the Twin Cities area. This matching gift was originally made possible for those attending the April 24, 2020 Ninth Annual Christ Brings Hope Banquet. However, as circumstances have changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, donations may be made through this website, and a matching gift requested for one of the participating Catholic schools.

How were schools chosen to participate?

Schools became eligible through the support of a Christ Brings Hope Banquet sponsor or table host. All schools that were represented at last year’s Christ Brings Hope Banquet are eligible again this year, in addition to several others, thanks to the support of new sponsors.

How do participating schools benefit from the match?

An anonymous donor will send each school a check for their designated gift amount after the end of the matching opportunity on May 31, 2020. Matching gifts will benefit a school’s tuition assistance.

Can anyone make a gift to Relevant Radio and have their gift matched for a Twin Cities area participating Catholic school?

Yes! Any gift made to Relevant Radio through this webpage or the matching gift mailing, by May 31, 2020, will be matched.

Are Relevant Radio Pledge Drive gifts eligible for the match?

Gifts made specifically for the pledge drive are not eligible for the school tuition match.

When does the matching gift opportunity end?

Gifts must be made via this webpage by May 31, 2020, or be postmarked by May 31, 2020 (if mailed in), to be eligible for the school matching gift.

How will I know my gift has been matched for the participating school I selected?

You will receive an acknowledgement letter soon after May 31, 2020, the close of this matching gift opportunity. The letter will confirm the name of the participating school you chose for the match.

Will the Christ Brings Hope Banquet be rescheduled?

We will not reschedule the banquet but are changing it to a virtual event as our first-ever Christ Brings Hope Award National Broadcast on Friday, April 24, 2020, from 6:30 – 7:00 pm CT. Please visit the virtual event page for more information.
