Day 21 Reflection:
With the title Virgin Most Merciful we are reminded of Our Lord’s words at the Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” At the end, on judgment day, I think we will all be begging for mercy rather than justice. And what is mercy? It means giving people a break. Just like Our Lord did with the poor woman caught in adultery. “Woman, has no one condemned you? ‘No one, Lord.’ Neither do I condemn you.”
54 Day Rosary Novena based on the titles of the Blessed Mother as found in the Litany of Loreto.
About these reflections
Would you please join me in a 54 Day Rosary Novena praying for the upcoming Synod of the Family and the Supreme Court's deliberations on marriage so that God may be glorified and children protected?
We will start May 8.
You can pray the 54 Day Rosary Novena however you wish: alone, in a group, with your family. On a plane, in a train, in the car. You can do the regular, extra, or super-duper. The "super-duper" means praying all 20 mysteries of the rosary daily: Glorious, Joyful, Sorrowful, and Luminous.
Don't worry! There's no such thing as a bad rosary, no matter how distracted you might be or how chaotic life is. If you can't pray the rosary one day, you can get back on track the next day. The point is 'the rosary is powerful.' Very powerful. My father prayed it every day and managed to survive four years in the army in the South Pacific during WWII.
Each day I will post a short reflection on the many titles of the Blessed Mother from the Litany of Our Lady (Loreto) on my Facebook page.
