Bishop Conlon receives Chicago Christ Brings Hope Award

The Most Rev. R. Daniel Conlon, Bishop of the Diocese of Joliet, is the 2017 recipient of the Relevant Radio® Chicago Christ Brings Hope Award. Bishop Conlon was honored at a dinner held at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois, on Wednesday, September 27. Nearly 400 Relevant Radio listeners and supporters were in attendance.

Bishop Conlon was honored at the dinner for his dedicated service to the Church and his flock. He currently serves as an Executive Board member of Rainbow Council for the Boy Scouts of America, as well as a member of the Canon Law Society of America and the Mundelein Seminary Advisory Board.

That same evening, the Caritas Dei Award was awarded to the Very Rev. William M. De Salvo, pastor of St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Hinsdale, IL. Rev. Francis “Father Rocky” Hoffman was the keynote speaker and the event was emceed by Sheila Liaugminas, host of A Closer LookTM. The joyful atmosphere of the event was a testament to the wonderful support of our Relevant Radio listeners.
