Calling Congress for the Conscience Protection Act

It is an unfortunate reality today that many Catholic healthcare professionals and institutions are being forced to choose – they can participate in abortions or leave the healthcare field altogether. Still other Catholic organizations are being forced to provide coverage for elective abortions—including late-term abortions—in their health care plans despite the fact that it is contrary to their pro-life convictions.

Today, March 12th, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is asking us to flood Congress with calls, asking them to support the Conscience Protection Act as part of the 2018 funding bill.

On today’s Rewind, Fr. Tim Graff stops by Morning Air® to explain why the Conscience Protection Act is needed to protect Americans from being forced to violate their deeply held convictions about respect for human life.

Members of Congress can be reached by calling the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and asking to be connected with your representative or senator.

Or you can email and call your Members of Congress quickly and easily at www.bit.ly/support-cpa.
