The World Watches as Ireland Holds Vote to Legalize Abortion

The people of Ireland are heading to the polls today to vote on a referendum that could legalize abortion in the Emerald Isle. The 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution prohibits abortion, but today the people are voting on whether or not to repeal that amendment.

Jim Walsh, a former member of the Irish parliament, stops by The Drew Mariani Show™  to share how Ireland got to this point and what it has been like on the ground in the days leading up to this important vote.
