Family life can be messy. With all the different personalities, strengths, weaknesses, and relationship dynamics, it can be easy to let family tension take root in our homes.

A listener named Joy called in to The Patrick Madrid Show, asking for advice on how to honor her elderly parents while also caring for her three teenagers as a single mom. Joy noticed she was growing resentful of caring for the needs of her parents, as it was taking her focus away from her kids and her own goals.
