VIDEO: New Technology Allows Us to See What Saints Really Looked Like

For saints who lived centuries ago, we know of their extraordinary holiness, but not what they actually looked like. Experts in facial reconstruction are changing that by taking the remains of saints and giving us a more accurate picture of their faces.

Cicero Moraes, one of the facial reconstruction experts, said that “Many times, people look at relics and don’t make the connection. But when there’s a face, the person starts to look at that image with more humanity.”
