Gifts for the Blessed Mother

One of the Guiding Principles of Relevant Radio® is that our apostolate operates under the protective intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is fitting then, that in the month of May and just days before Mother’s Day our listeners showed their love for the Blessed Mother and Relevant Radio in a beautiful and powerful way.

As a listener-supported network, Relevant Radio relies on the generosity of our many listeners to keep our programs running and our stations on the air, and this week was the Give Hope Pledge Drive.  On Thursday, during The Drew Mariani Show™Drew and Fr. Rocky, Executive Director/CEO of Relevant Radio, asked listeners to make a pledge in honor of Mary. Drew offered to place roses at an image of Our Lady in the Relevant Radio headquarters, on behalf of those who made a pledge during that hour.

Thanks to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the generosity of faithful listeners, nearly 400 people called in a pledge, raising more than $45,000 in just one hour! It was a beautiful sign of Our Lady’s intercession and the devotion of Relevant Radio listeners.

And true to his promise, Drew placed 33 white roses at the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the lobby of the Relevant Radio headquarters. Now all who enter will know of the love that Relevant Radio listeners have for our Blessed Mother.

If you made a pledge during the Give Hope Pledge Drive – thank you! Your generosity helped us reach out goal and be funded for the next quarter. If you didn’t get a chance to make a pledge and would like to give a Mother’s Day gift to Our Lady, you can make a pledge now through our Give Page. All donations will be matched 100% through Saturday.
