I am writing to you from Lourdes where I am on the tail end of a two week Marian pilgrimage of thanksgiving and petition to shrines of the Blessed Mother in Europe. It is important to say thank you to those who help you (like Our Blessed Mother!) and the more that you thank people, the more they help you. On this pilgrimage I have prayed for you and your intentions daily, and I have prayed that Relevant Radio^® always stays true to its Mission: “Bringing Christ to the world through the media.”

On October 4, a First Friday, I will give a retreat to all of our associates on the topic of our Mission Statement as part of our “First Friday Retreats” that also includes the Rosary, Mass and Lunch.

As you know, Relevant Radio is growing and by the end of the year we should be broadcasting on over thirty new signals in a dozen major markets. This requires a great deal of work on the part of our engineers who have been configuring the station equipment and installing it at the new stations. It’s a lot of work but we can’t wait to welcome so many new listeners to the Relevant Radio family!

October is a beautiful month and offers many wonderful ways to celebrate. It’s the Month of the Holy Rosary—did you know that we pray the Rosary LIVE on air each day? Tune in to our Family Rosary Across America^®, hosted by Fr. Dave Heney and Karen Moran, each evening at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.

October is also Respect Life Month. We welcome you to join us as we work towards praying 200,000,000 Memorares for an end to abortion. We’re at 165 Million now, so keep on praying and add your prayers to our Memorare Meter! No prayer is ever wasted and every single one makes a difference.
