How I Started Praying the Rosary Every Day

The Rosary is a long chain that links heaven and earth. One end of it is in our hands and the other end is in the hands of the Holy Virgin – St. Therese of Lisieux

The rosary is a powerful devotion that has been encouraged by saints, popes, and holy men and women throughout the centuries. But many people find the rosary to be a difficult devotion – some have difficulty finding time to pray the rosary, while others have difficulty paying attention to the prayers and meditations. Many have the desire to pray it daily, but have a hard time making it a regular part of their day.

But while it may be difficult, it can be done! A listener named Maria called in to The Patrick Madrid Show to share how listening to Relevant Radio® led her to start praying the rosary every day.

“I just stumbled upon your radio station,” she said. “I was tired of listening to music and just pushed some buttons – and all of a sudden, on 106.7, they were praying the rosary. I thought, ‘What radio station is this? Because I’ve never heard of a radio station praying.'”

While that may have been the first time Maria heard the rosary on the radio, it certainly wouldn’t be the last. She explained, “I am now addicted [to Relevant Radio]. Every time I get into my car I listen on the app, and I end up praying the rosary three or four times a day. I’ve never done that in my life. I’m very grateful you are there and the app is there. It’s just a beautiful, beautiful thing that I stumbled upon, and I listen to nothing but Relevant Radio right now.”

“Thank you so much, you’ve changed my life,” she told Patrick. “You’re always there for me. No matter what my need is, I can turn on the app, I can turn on the radio, and you’re always there.”
